A two-page letter from Kim Zagaris, Chief of Fire & Rescue, to all Fire Chiefs in the state informing them of their opportunity to participate in the “California Hazardous Materials Response Capabilities Typing Project".

A three-page document that takes you through a step-by-step process of requesting an inspection. Included is a “Sample Letter of Request”.

A two-page sample letter “Project Point-of-Contact” that is completed by the Requesting Agency. It establishes a point-of-contact for all further communications and officially opens the file.
- Sample Inspection Record - Equipment
A 16 page facsimile of the actual equipment inspection record (Hazardous Materials Company Typing Inspection Record) used during an inspection. It should be used to conduct a review and a self-inspection prior to calling for the official on-site inspection.

A two page facsimile of the actual training record (Hazardous Materials Company Typing Training Inspection Record) used during an actual inspection. It should be used to conduct a review of your training records to ensure all certificates as required will be available at the time of the official on-site inspection.

Example copies of the final report documenting the results of the inspection, for both a “pass” and a “fail”. Documents describe what steps are necessary to clear any discrepancies.
